Mr. Belani receives the Ambassador of the Netherlands to Algeria

The Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Community abroad, Mr. Amar Belani, received Thursday the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Algiers, Janna van der Velde.

The meeting allowed to review the status of the political bilateral relations and the common will to strengthen them and to take advantage of all the potentialities of cooperation that exist between the two countries.

As such, the two sides have reiterated their willingness to enhance their cooperation in areas of excellence of both countries, especially those of energy, agriculture, start-ups and transport.

Mr. Belani took this opportunity to highlight the economic reforms initiated by the high authorities of the country, which have improved the business environment and promote foreign direct investment.

He finally stressed that the achievement of political and institutional reforms undertaken since 2020, combined with the good political and security situation in Algeria, make Algeria a stable and secure country, thereby consolidating the dynamics of trade and allowing greater fluidity of movement of people between the two countries.
