Launch of the Investor Digital Platform

Implementation of the commitments of the President concerning the promotion of investment and the improvement of the business climate, the Algerian Agency for the Promotion of Investment, from Thursday, February 08, 2024, with the presence of members of the government, launching the digital platform for the investor, in addition to the comprehensive reform process of the system of economic property subsidies.

The new regime aims to free investment from the obstacles related to the abundance of economic property, with an effective simplification of the administrative process that will allow project holders to fully leave their investments without hindrance.

In addition to other measures that the government has taken, in accordance with the instructions of Mr President, such as the conversion of the concession into a surrender of economic property for the projects operated, and the establishment of specialized institutions for the creation of economic property (industrial, tourist and urban), as well as the regulation of the position of projects that benefited from the concession before the entry into force of the new regime, the launch of the digital platform for investors today opens a new era for investment policy in the country.

In this context, the launch of this platform will allow greater transparency in the processing of requests for access to economic real estate, by ensuring accurate monitoring and free support of the investment bureaucracy, in full harmony with past practices.
